Update is actually slow on desktop. It takes several minutes to synchornise chats - former version did not. And considering information technology also 'works' offline, chats are husseled like hell when switching between desktop and telephone. Some messages are not delivered at phones using 'old' version. And so it now makes Whatsapp an unreliable irritating slow messaging service. Time to switch to something else.
